The status
Independent commercial agent: how does it work?
- You work as a commercial agent (sole trader or company), registered with the RSAC.
- The agency issues an authorisation certificate (Hoguet law) so you can negotiate under its professional licence.
- You take out professional liability insurance and complete the mandatory ongoing training.
- You earn commission on every sale or rental closed, on a progressive scale.

What status do commercial agents have at MANGOLD REAL ESTATE?
You work independently as a commercial agent (sole trader or company), registered with the RSAC. The agency issues an authorisation certificate under the Hoguet law so you can negotiate under its professional licence.
How is a luxury real-estate agent paid?
You earn commission on every sale or rental closed, on a progressive rate linked to your turnover with no ceiling. Exact terms are presented during the meeting with management.
Do I need real-estate experience to apply?
Experience in real estate, luxury sales, private banking, luxury hospitality or concierge services is a plus. Career changers with genuine sales skills and a local network are carefully considered; launch training is provided.
What training is offered?
Personalised onboarding, legal training (Hoguet and ALUR laws, mandates, anti-money laundering), training on the agency’s tools and sales coaching specific to the prestige market. The mandatory 42 hours of training every 3 years is supported.
Which cities are you recruiting in?
We are currently hiring in Paris, Cannes, Annecy, Colmar, Metz, Thionville, Reims and Gérardmer, as well as across eastern France. Spontaneous applications are welcome for other areas.
What does the recruitment process look like?
After your online application, a first phone or video call takes place within 48 working hours, followed by a meeting with management and onboarding: RSAC registration, authorisation certificate, tools and launch training.
Is my application data confidential?
Yes. The form complies with the GDPR: your data and files are stored privately, viewed only by management, kept for 2 years after the last contact, and you can request deletion at any time at [email protected].
Can I work part-time?
Yes, the commercial agent status allows full-time work or work alongside another activity, subject to incompatibility rules. Regular commitment is still needed to serve a high-end clientele.
